 From October 15 on BIG OPENING WEEK OF SQUATS
Facing the difficulties to keep a squat for sufficient time, facing a
crazy housing crisis that doubled rents within five years, facing the
quantity of abandoned buildings, facing the transformation of Brussels
from a vivid, popular city into a business and tourism centre, private
and stale, facing police pressure against non-commercial happenings, we
stuck to the idea of our dutch comrades who already four times organized
such an opening week in different cities – successfully, because many
people came from everywhere to join them.

THIS IS A CALL FOR YOU TO JOIN US

A first meeting happened on Wednesday, July 30. The following points
were stated:
- it is necessary to mark more rooms and gather as much information as
possible (owner, size, water, electricity, gas, swimming pool, garage,
jaccuzi...)
- the idea to administrate a space for parties, concerts and so on, of
course collectively, is being held up (but has to be discussed, like
everything)
- the opening of a place for vans, of different houses and studios is
made according to affinity and necessity
- places around Brussels can accomodate vehicles before the mentioned
week

Meetings every Wednesday, the real big one on September 10 in Brussels,
39, rue du fort - Saint-gilles
