Sherman Austin, (ex-)webmaster of Raisethefist, yesterday surrendered to
the authorities to serve a one year's sentence in federal prison.
Sherman was accompanied by about 50 persons, several of them took part
in discussions (including Sherman's mother) and it was an emotional
situation when everybody said farewell to Sherman, with raised fists.
The only scuffle with police occured when they noticed that an activist
was shooting video footage of the federal building, but the thing did
not escalate.
The support campaign for Sherman continues!
