On ne sort pas indemne d'une visite à Georges dans la prison de
Lannemezan. 38 années d'enfermement ne l'ont pas abattu. Il est d'une
gentillesse et d'une affection extrêmes avec les visiteurs. Il
s'informe, il débat sur tous les sujets: la Palestine, la lutte des
classes, le marxisme, le monde arabe, la religion, la Chine, les gilets
jaunes ... Il explique que le dégagisme contre les pouvoirs en place ne
suffit pas, il faut un projet révolutionnaire. Il a gardé le
vocabulaire des années 70. Par exemple l'Autorité Palestinienne est
pour lui une «bourgeoisie comprador». Sur son enfermement sans fin, il
sait que c'est une question de rapport de force. Et pour l'instant,
nous ne l'avons pas ...
