Immigration Canada Cowers Behind Plexi-Glass 
A large delegation of members of various community organizations, 
including Project Threadbare and the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty, 
went today to the Greater Toronto Enforcement Centre (GTEC) to 
demand a meeting with Chris Raymond, the Manager of Removals 
directly responsible for deportations of several men swept up in this

des Assedic ont reçu un courrier leur annonçant que, même s'ils avaient 
encore des droits ouverts aux Assedic pour plusieurs mois ou années, il 
n'en sera plus rien à partir du 1er janvier 2004, conséquence directe 
d'un accord conclu entre les gestionnaires de l'Unedic (patronat et ses

son arrivée à Paris à un rassemblement contre tous les cas de répression

documentaire "Union maids" qui raconte l'histoire d'une lutte ouvrière 
menée par des femmes afro-américaines de Chicago durant la grande 
Dépression. 
 
Cette projection sera suivie d'un débat animé par Marianne Debouzy, 
universitaire, spécialiste du syndicalisme aux Etats-Unis.

On n'arrête pas de l'entendre aux J.T., à la radio . "c'est une fatalité 
démographique" ; "démographie oblige", "l'impossibilité démographique". 
Je veux bien sûr parler de la polémique sur le système actuel des 
retraites et surtout du soi-disant phénomène qui le mettrait en péril. Ce 
phénomène, nous le connaissons parfaitement, il relève de la démographie 
et s'explique facilement : le nombre d'individus qui partiront à la retraite
