Le mardi 29 octobre, à Foix, derrière l'arbre de la liberté, la zone se réunit
comme tous les jours. La police reçoit un coup de téléphone comme quoi
les boulistes se plaignent d'être importunés par une dizaine de
marginaux. Après nous avoir demandé de déguerprit agressivement, les

comrades- from KESK(*) are punished to 1 year 3 months
imprisonment with the claim of not obeying to the
"Meeting and Demonstrations Act".
The judge Sahin Kurt declared that the syndicalists
did not obey the order of the police telling them "to
split away" and offended the "Meeting and
Demonstrations Act" # 2911, Article 32/1; that is why
he "punished" them to 1 year 3 months imprisonment.

The Canadian Worker Cooperative Federation was
founded in 1992 as a non-profit organisation, seeking to
encourage and help finance worker-owned and operated

international solidarity.
Following a major prison mutiny the authorities are exacting
revenge, torturing and beating inmates. 3 prisoners are dead,
reportedly killed by guards.
The mutiny broke out on 1 March in Montevideo. Inmates rebelled
against brutality and appalling conditions, taking over and largely
destroying the inaptly named 'Liberty' jail.
