Anti-War Activism Here's a report on the Revolutionary Anti-Imperialist Bloc
that participated in yesterday's anti-war rally in Columbus, OH... we will be
writing a longer, more in depth article tomorrow, so I'll post that when it's
done.
There were approximately 75 people in the Bloc, from all over Ohio as well as
some people from Michigan and PA. When we started marching, there was a very
light police presence (from what I heard, all the cops - riot and undercovers
included - were present at the main march's meetin...

Selamlar,
Uzunca bir süreden bu yana cezaevi idaresi adli
tutuklu ve hükümlüleri kullanarak yaşamıma yönelik
taciz eden, rahatsız eden saldırgan davranışları
örgütlemektedir.
Bulunduğum oda da tek olarak kalmaktayım. Üç yıllık
bir süredir Amasya Özel Tip Kapalı cezaevinde
kalmaktayım. Anarşist (Liberter-özgürlükçü) düşünceyi
ve yaşama tarzını benimsemekteyim.
Savunduğum-benimsemiş olduğum bu düşüncelerden,
fikirlerden, yaşama kültüründen dolayı cezaevi idaresi
nedense rahatsızlık duymaktadır. Bu rahatsızlığın

Heute hat offiziell das europaeische Social Forum in Florenz begonnen unter
dem Motto "Against the neoliberalism, war and racism". Die offiziell
erwarteten 30.000 TeilnehmerInnen sind bisher noch nicht eingetrudelt. Die
Busse aus Deutschland scheinen bis auf lange Wartezeiten an der Grenze keine
Schwierigkeiten zu haben nach Florenz zu gelangen. Bisher ist es nur eine
ueberschaubare Menge an Menschen hier in Florenz eingelaufen - groesstenteils
weisse Westeuropaeer.

ihr halbjährliches sit-in, diesmal in Kopenhagen. Von hier aus
wollen sie (wie gewöhnlich) unsere Leben kontrollieren. Um das
westliche Machtmonopol beizubehalten, sind sie bereit, zusammen
mit USA Millionen Menschenleben zu opfern, durch Krieg,

"La mattina dopo ero partente per Porto Azzurro e lì, caro Giuliano,
incominciò il mio calvario. Come arrivai all'entrata mi vidi un esercito di
secondini in assetto antisommossa. Non so quel giorno quante botte presi. Mi
aprirono la testa con pezzi di ferro, mi incrinarono una costola ... insomma
ero messo male.
Mi ritrovai sul letto di contenzione e ammanettato così forte che dopo
alcuni giorni il ferro delle manette mi era entrato nelle carni. Per un mese
fui tenuto isolato e i primi 10 giorni tutte le mattine puntuali entravano e
mi massacravano. Buttavo sangue da tutte...

Conferenza scientifica internazionale dedicato a 160 anni di
P.A. Kropotkin.
La conferenza si svolgerà a Sankt-Peterburg (9-10 dicembre 2002)

a few cities on Dec. 11 - the
anniversary of the beginning of the
first Chechen War. It was decided at the
meeting of the FA this weekend.
I'm trying to see if there is any
international interest - I suspect that
in Moscow and Petersburg at least
there will be something and we can make
it international. If anybody else is
planning something, let's put them
together in some way.

Una folla eccezzionale quella che il 9 novembre ha manifestato a
Firenze contro la guerra e i preparativi di attacco all'Irak.
Poco interessa sapere se erevamo mezzo milione o un milione,
l'importante è che un popolo è finalmente sceso in piazza, in
quella che probabilmente è stata la più grande manifestazione
europea contro la guerra di tutti i tempi, per dire il suo no
netto all'intervento militare contro un altro popolo, un no
completo, senza se e sensa ma.

This morning a young person was arrested by the secret police.
Without hardly a word, without identifying themselves to the
young person nor giving any explanation, he was put into a car
and was taken under arrest to police headquarters where he is
still held.
Just as when the four comrades were arrested, this young person
is accused of the same charge: destruction of property and
public disorder. It is still not known which section of the
court the charges originate from, but everything leads us to
believe in a legal-political frameup which is only the
beginning.

Per le edizioni di 'ZERO in CONDOTTA' è finalmente uscito 'BAKUNIN E GLI
ALTRI - Ritratti contemporanei di un rivoluzionario' di Arthur Lehning per
la traduzione di Enzo Papa. Si tratta della prima edizione italiana di un
testo, edito in Francia nel 1976, curato dal compagno olandese scomparso a
100 anni nel 2000 dopo una vita dedicata al movimento anarchico e
anarcosindacalista (cofondatore dell'AIT, di cui fu militante attivo,
storico e scrittore, appartenente al movimento artistico Bauhaus, aveva
pubblicato, tra gli altri, i monumentali Archivi "Bakunin" ...
