 The demonstration started at 8 pm and went from Atocha to Plaza Jacinto
 Benavente behind a banner which encouraged the need to continue the struggle
 after the 20th June General Strike and signed by the syndical organisations
 CNT, CGT, Solidaridad Obrera and Coordinadora Sindical de Madrid. Following
 this banner came the CGT with a banner affirming that the struggle continues
 and lots of red and black flags. After that, the Coordinadora Sindical de

La grève continue à la fonderie Newell de Négrepelisse. La semaine dernière,
 alors que le Comité de soutien bloquait l'usine depuis trois jours, le
 patron avait commencé à lâcher quelques miettes, pensant acheter ainsi la
 colère ouvrière. Erreur.
 Alors que les ouvriers sont formellement en grève depuis hier, lors des
 négociations d'aujourd'hui, le patron a du faire de nouvelles concessions :
 36 000 francs supplémentaires pour les salariés ayant moins de 5 ans
 d'ancienneté, et ensuite des indemnités selon un bârème dégressif pour les
 plus anciens. Insuffisant pour les salariés, dont en fait la majorité se
 verraient allouer les indemnités minimales. La grève continue donc.

Les syndicats et le parti socialiste appellent à une grande manifestation le 31
 août pour défendre nos rentes de deuxième pilier (LPP: prévoyance
 professionnelle). Quelque 15'000 travailleurs et travailleuses y participent
 dans une ambiance combative et solidaire pour dénoncer le vol de nos retraites.
 Mais que diable veut la social-démocratie? La démarche est simple: conseillers
 fédéraux socialistes en tête, on a accepté d'emblée l'essentiel des
 revendications bourgeoises et donc, on ne met pas en jeu des moyens efficaces
 pour y résister. Il s'agit, comme toujours dans ces cas là, de faire "quelque
 chose" pour obtenir quelques concessions secondaires et surtout de réaffirmer
 le statut de négociateurs incontournables et raisonnables de nos apparatchiks

A Nice, le 1er octobre 2001, un militant libertaire de 54 ans, Daniel
 Milan, a été tabassé par des policiers à son domicile, cité des Moulins.
 Il a reçu des coups de poing et des coups de pied de partout, des coups
 de rasoir dans le dos, et jusqu'à des tentatives de strangulation. Les
 coups n'ont pas cessé pendant tout le trajet ainsi qu'à l'intérieur du
 commissariat. Des témoignages, des photos et des certificats médicaux
 attestent de ces faits contraires au droit.
 Daniel Milan a porté plainte, les policiers tortionnaires ont été
 identifiés. Mais ils ne sont toujours pas inculpés; cela fait plus d'un

9th-11th of August 15th meeting of the Association of Anarchist Movements
 (ADA) took place in the city of Nizhnii Novgorod in Russia. 14 persons from
 Saint-Petersburg, Nizhnii Novgorod, Kazan, Tver, Yaroslavl and Minsk
 (Belarus) were present. Meeting checked the membership and made a number of
 resolutions - against state borders, against state dictature and police
 brutality, on the global situation after September 11th 2001 and an
 anti-fascist resolution. For Russian texts of the resolutions, write to
 ad_nn@mail.ru. It was decided that 16th meeting of ADA will be organised in
 Yaroslavl next year, and in Saint-Petersburg if extraordinary circumstances
 prevent organising meeting in Yaroslavl.

 al terrorismo, in nome della libertà.
 E' necessario andare oltre l'opposizione alla guerra su base esclusivamente
 etica, che rappresenta una forma di semplice testimonianza ma non permette
 di fare passi avanti nella risoluzione concreta del problema.
 E' necessario invece articolare una risposta politica efficace che sia in
 grado di opporre valide ragioni contro il fuoco di sbarramento della

Ancora una volta  loro - i ROS !
 All'incirca da un mese  i ROS stanno interrogando come "persone  informate
 sui fatti" compagni appartenenti a diverse aree del movimento presenti in
 piazza nelle giornate del G8. L'operazione in sordina, partita da Genova,
 nel giro di solo alcune settimane si è estesa ad altre città del Nord Italia
 (Milano, Bergamo, Torino, Pordenone, ecc).
 La cosa non è da sottovalutare perché i ROS si sono sempre distinti ( vedi
 inchiesta Marini, T.A.V. in Val di Susa, Sole e Baleno "suicidati" in
 carcere, scagionamento di Silvano a distanza di anni) nel costruire teoremi

Quebec City: A Squat Short Story 
 On Friday, September 20th, the 920 de la Chevrotiere squat in Quebec City
 was evicted following more then 4 months of occupation. The eviction was
 carried out by a small army of cops and city officials. 
 At around 6 pm several plainclothes officers entered the building, read a
 legal eviction notice with a megaphone and asked the people inside to
 leave. The squatters did not resist the eviction and were given permission
 to go inside two by two to pick up their belongings. 
 Once this was done, city workers boarded up the building. As soon as the
 news of the eviction was known, some 40 supporters and friends gathered in

No México, igualmente como no Brasil, rádios livres e comunitárias 
 estão sendo reprimidas violentamente pelos aparatos do Estado.
 Em Oaxaca, a situação é muito difícil. Há um mês e meio o governo 
 saqueou e roubou uma das rádios, a “Jen Poj de Tlahuitoltepec Mixe”, 
 e ameaçaram de quebrar toda os aparelhos de transmissão de outras 
 três rádios.
 Semana passada, tentaram assassinar dois compas do Conselho Indígena 
 Popular de Oaxaca – Ricardo Flores Magon (CIPO-RFM), que são 
 animadores de uma rádio, e envolvidos em diversas atividades 
 comunitárias e meios alternativos, entre eles Gonzalo Santiago.
