From the outset, let's be clear, at the CNT-AIT, we do not want your ballot: our 
union has chosen not to participate in any election, without exception.

   Elections and bodies waste and channel precious energy
Management has nothing to do with instances, at worst, they sit on it, at best, 
they take it as a formality, a checkbox on the "social dialogue" form. It is 
enough to read the report of the colleagues who sit in the bodies to see the low 
interest in sitting there. The administration imposes its views and elected 
officials can only see their powerlessness. At best, the administration gives 
them the "first" information that could also be addressed directly to the agents.

We could have the best elected officials in the world present in the instances 
that we would not change anything. Worse, the state seeks to use the authorities 
to channel discontent and neutralize, even delegitimize, any collective protest 
action.

Not to mention that with the elections and the professionalization of trade 
unionism, a caste of professional trade union officials has sometimes been 
created who divert their mandate for their purely personal interest...
The December 2022 vote will please some for a few hours, maybe a few days. But 
after? Afterwards, we will come back to the same point, because our managements 
will only change their policy, their ways of doing things if we force them to.

   Build a necessary and legitimate balance of power
As agents, we defend a public service at the service of workers and users. Our 
hierarchs, every day, demonstrate that they are the gravediggers. Therefore, how 
could we believe in a hypothetical "social dialogue"?

Our ability to change things, to counter the projects of our boss - who is the 
State - and of its representatives, lies elsewhere than in the authorities. Only 
the balance of power on the ground and solidarity between workers - whatever 
their status - can achieve real progress.
It is in the services, on a daily basis, that we need strong and solid 
collectives, organized into autonomous assemblies. We do not suggest that you 
vote, but to be active and imaginative in the modalities of action: verbal 
protests, petitions, walkouts, strikes, rallies, occupations, etc.
Given what the government is preparing for us on pensions, it is urgent that we 
meet to discuss it and prepare to respond. Bringing workers together in 
collectives to defend their interests, independently of political organizations, 
seems urgent to us.

Our anarchosyndicalist organization, the CNT-AIT, supports autonomous and 
sovereign assemblies of struggle, direct action and struggle in the perspective 
of an emancipatory project. From now on, the principles of self-management, 
rotation of mandates, direct democracy and equality are applied.
Boycott the elections.
