Comrades ---- CNT heartfelt thanks attendance and participation in the International 
Conference of Barakaldo of the delegates of the IWW in the United States and Canada, IWW 
UK and Ireland, FAU and IWW of Germany, IP Poland, USI in Italy, ESE Greece and Rocinante, 
CNT-GAP and CNT-Vignoles France and FORA of Argentina, as well as messages of support from 
the Workers League of Paraguay, Brazil and CNT FOB-STCPP of France. ---- We are aware of 
the effort you have made to attend this event, and we are proud and honored to be able to 
count on your presence. The answer has obtained this call and the interest aroused at 
international level can not be more instructive. We thank you for it. ---- Thanks also to 
whom you have collaborated with the organization from various unions of CNT. Undoubtedly, 
your effort has contributed to the Conference has been a success.

The words "historic event" have heard more than once during the encounter. Time will tell 
if it is or not. It is true, in any case, rarely have had the privilege to have the 
presence of so many representatives come from so many parts of the world. In our view, 
this is especially important at a time when the drift of the world situation seems to be 
heading in precisely the opposite direction. The most recent events in international 
politics, from the Brexit to the recent elections in the United States through immigration 
restrictions in many European countries, paint a picture of growing isolationism, 
xenophobia and chauvinistic insularity. Faced with this worrying development, the 
anarcho-syndicalists and revolutionary syndicalists in many parts of the world have 
decided to strengthen our internationalist commitment and solidarity. The Conference of 
Barakaldo is the beginning of a process that will certainly have a long journey and whose 
conclusion can be sure: With your participation, we will tend bridges where others want to 
build walls and will narrow ties against those who want to divide us.
