Anarchists picketed the Russian Embassy in Kiev in solidarity with Kol'chenko an
anti-fascists, environmentalist, and social activist in Crimea detained and charged by the
FSB (exKGB) and facing transfer to Moscow. ---- "Today, May 28, activists of the Union of
Autonomous Workers and vneorganizatsionnye leftist activists held by the Embassy of the
Russian Federation share solidarity with Alexander "Tundra" Kol'chenko, which on May 16 on
the street was detained by officers of the FSB, as well as with other detainees Crimean
activists. ---- At the rally, activists focused on the exclusively peaceful nature of
activity Kol'chenko Alexander, who participated in the protests of environmental, social
protests (eg, against the draft anti-labor Labor Code) studencheckih initiatives. In
addition, Alexander is a staunch anti-fascist, while now the FSB accuses him of "fascism"
and links to the right sector.
Activists in their speeches noted repressive actions of the Russian Federation, but also
reminded that the problem of aggression against activists state typical of other countries
in the former Soviet Union, in particular - in Belarus activists "preventively detained"
in an effort to catch up with Russia to degree of authoritarianism and distinguished
Ukrainian MPs from the ruling party "Fatherland" which offered "preventively" detain
people without trial for one suspect in the possible commission of "crimes" against
abstract "authority of public authorities . " However, this bill has partly succeeded in
"fail" due to public outcry .
Work is under way to raise funds for attorneys' fees and other expenses for which are now
forced to carry Sasha family.
Kiev anarchists also reminded that our main weapon in the international fight against our
enemies, and the state capital - is the solidarity of the workers.
Solidarity stronger all prisons!
Tundra, come out!"
