In this regard, yet another confirmation comes from what happened on 
Sunday 23 June at 12pm local time, when Ukraine attacked Crimea by 
launching 5 Atacms missiles of US production. According to what was 
officially declared by Moscow, four missiles were neutralized by 
anti-aircraft fire while the fifth fell on a beach in Sevastopol causing 
the death of 5 people, including 3 children, while another 120 people 
were injured.

Several international analysts, in the same hours as the missile attack, 
traced the flight of a US Air Force Global Hawk drone (Forte 10 in code) 
which, after taking off from the Sicilian base of Sigonella, reached the 
Black Sea; about 200 km south of the city of Yalta (Crimea) the aircraft 
turned off the transponder, making itself invisible to radar equipment. 
The drone then returned to Sigonella on the morning of June 24th (6 am 
local time).

In an interview given to Sussidiario.net, Gianandrea Gaiani, director of 
Defense Analysis, declared that "an important detail is that the launch 
of Atacms missiles is usually accompanied by that of reconnaissance 
drones that guide it and have their base mother in Sigonella, Italy".

Once again the irresponsible key role of the Sigonella naval air station 
in the bloody Russian-Ukrainian conflict is confirmed and the 
co-belligerence of the Italian authorities authorizing the US and NATO 
intelligence flights and coordination of the attacks of the Kiev armed 
forces against military objectives and Russian civilians.

The silence of the political and social forces and of the Sicilian and 
national media is ignoble.

And while the alerted Yankees wait for the terrorists, the Italian 
government invents them: with the security bill signed 
Nordio-Piantedosi, a further restriction on the freedom to demonstrate 
is imposed, the last act before the tout court ban on demonstrating. The 
very fascist law on security (whose?), in reality on demonstrations of 
dissent, intervenes on sit-ins, demonstrations, moving of bins, "crimes" 
punishable with up to two years in prison if committed by more than two 
people. The flower of peaceful and nonviolent protests is criminalized, 
and furthermore, actions are taken on prisoners' protests (even just the 
refusal to lie down) by imposing additional sentences.

The bill, which will soon pass through parliament, seems to be tailored 
to the protests of recent months for the environment and Palestine, but, 
considering the previous decrees which targeted other peaceful, but more 
direct, forms of protest, it can represent the tombstone on the right to 
dissidence and protest. We take note of this and prepare ourselves for 
individual and mass civil disobedience, for the clogging of the courts, 
for the response to the legalistic leftists who exhaust their opposition 
in the sterile parliamentary antics, first in the commissions and then 
in the visiting room of Montecitorio.

And to demonstrate how important it is to challenge the very fascist 
laws, on June 25th in Genoa the CALP dockers, with the main support of 
Si-Cobas, blocked some piers where ships dedicated to military transport 
docked, showing how the fight against war and Solidarity with the 
populations who are victims of intercalated and inter-imperialist 
conflicts must continue and can be incisive. There is also an ongoing 
debate among railway workers regarding the protocol signed by Leonardo 
and RFI for the militarization of railways in the event of war. In this

From 2 to 4 August the NO MUOS campsite will take place as every year. 
The first day will be dedicated to welcoming and settling in campers, 
with convivial and training moments. Saturday 3rd opens with the plenary 
assembly on the war, a general debate on the phase and the opposition in 
its various territorial but also political declinations. The assembly 
will continue in the afternoon with 4 thematic focuses, all addressed in 
plenary: 1) Palestine and solidarity movements; 2) university and war; 
3) conflicts on the African continent; 4) security laws and repression. 
After the evening meal there will be a debate on Democratic 
Confederalism and Women's World Confederalism. On Sunday 4th the morning 
is dedicated to an assembly between realities of struggle, a discussion 
on methods, affinities and common perspectives. In the early afternoon, 
the procession will leave from the movement's garrison towards gate one 
of the American military base.
