police) and the exercise of fear and repression.

Militarism and war imply the rise in the price of basic products and energy and, 
therefore, the increase in the cost of living. They mean that we are the workers 
who are going to have to pay more for less, that economic power is going to 
squeeze us even more so that it does not affect them, and that inequality is 
going to increase and accentuate. They involve fueling the fear of the bottomless 
pit of social exclusion to keep us workers submissive and silent.

Militarism and war involve the systematic destruction of communities and 
societies, and their cultural and social wealth. They mean extending the 
globalizing hegemony of capitalism, stealing and commodifying the lands and 
natural resources of these communities, forcing them to remain uprooted, to be 
part of the gears of capitalism, both as cheap labor and as cannon fodder in wars 
and armed conflicts.

That is why we anarchists advocate the demilitarization and dissolution of 
armies. We believe in the practice of solidarity and mutual support with all 
those who are exploited and dispossessed, and in a horizontal society of free 
federation of producers and consumers based on associated and cooperative work. 
That is why we will denounce the barbarities caused by borders, States, economic 
and political powers, and the wars that benefit them so much.
