such as the dismissal of violent, racist, homophobic police officers or the 
reminder of the compulsory wearing of the RIO, the police unionists note on the

In view of the reforms (retirement, university, etc.) that Macron is planning for 
this second five-year term, he can only count on his "police forces" to try to 
quell the popular mobilizations in reaction. It is therefore not surprising that 
Macron plans to double their number on the ground by 2030. His recent statements 
on the end of anonymity on the internet in favor of pseudonymity also raise fears 
of new measures on the control of digital exchanges and the management of 
personal data.
