(en) Germany, March 8th was so beautiful! (something to see, something to read and something to listen to) by FAU Dresden (ca, de, it, pt, tr)[machine translation]

It's been a full month since we spent this day together. Some are rather
combative, some are talkative or deeply relaxed. Below this post you will find
some photos that hopefully captured the mood a little. ---- First of all, we
would like to recommend a radio interview that two members of our Feminist
Struggle Group conducted with Anarchist Radio Dresden shortly before March 8th.
It deals with the background of the feminist strike movement, in Dresden and in
general, as well as strategic considerations and discussions on the impossibility
and possibility of a strike. Thank you for the exciting questions, which brought
a lot to the point, and for the solidarity discussion!
(A small note on this: In the interview we say that political strikes are
forbidden in Germany, but it's actually not that clear. More precisely, one could
say: it's a legal gray area that we can also influence collectively. You can find
out more about this You can read about it in our 2019 brochure on the right to
strike.)
We will soon be documenting the speech by the AG Feminist Struggle from March 8th:=)
And there is a very nice article in the Alternative Dresden News about the day.
thanks <3
In case you didn't notice shortly before March 8th: We published an article on
feminist utopias, which you can read here.
Here again the demands of the students and trainees of the Black Rose.
You can find more calls etc. etc. on the website of the F*Streik Dresden.
For us, the fact that March 8th is "every day" means continuously building and
maintaining structures of mutual aid. Only through binding and long-term
organization can we effectively defend ourselves against patriarchy and
capitalism. Such mutual support structures include our trade union advice, which
you can also use for all types of discrimination, not only in the workplace.
Have fun with the pictures, texts and the interview.
We look forward to discussing, organizing and dancing with you, continuing to
support each other and practicing striking together.
