(en) ERA Anarchists (Iran and Afghanistan): The Taliban are now on the verge of establishing their own government in Afghanistan. (ca, de, it, pt)[machine translation]

Date Tue, 24 Aug 2021 10:03:54 +0300

The powerful countries of the world did not prevent or hinder this project of the Taliban. Sadly, the people of Afghanistan have fallen into the hands of the Taliban again, and every atrocities imaginable can take place. ---- Eyewitnesses in several cities in Afghanistan that have fallen into the hands of the Taliban have said that the Taliban are trying to identify critics and opponents of their political and religious beliefs. Or they murder writers, poets, journalists and other social activists or take them to unknown places. ---- The rise to power of the Taliban in Afghanistan, with reactionary religious ideas and their history of bloodshed, and the imposition of another theocratic government on the people of the region, is contrary to popular struggles for freedom in Afghanistan.
The people took up arms to defend themselves against the Taliban and avoid a nightmare like that of a fundamentalist Islamic state. Still, each time they faced defeat and betrayal from the Afghan government. Their struggle was constantly repressed and appropriated by short-sighted governments and political parties. Until the latest news, the Taliban have entered Kabul and want to take over Afghanistan.
First, such a government would take care of the intellectuals and the younger generation who do not share the reactionary views of the Taliban. We fear that our comrades and other Afghan freedom fighters will be massacred in front of our eyes, as happened at the beginning of the Islamic regime in Iran. The world watched with wide eyes the slaughter of the opponents of the Islamic Republic.
The Taliban have claimed that Iran and Russia have agreed to an Islamic state in Afghanistan. Iran hosted high-ranking Taliban delegations on July 7, and the Taliban captured several border crossings between Iran and Afghanistan on July 9 without any confrontation with Iranian forces. Despite the current crisis, the host countries of Afghan refugees have not even stopped the deportation process. Germany alone returned 27 Afghan refugees to Afghanistan on Wednesday (July 7). The governments of the world seem determined to let the Afghan people suffer under the Taliban or be a slave to their own imperialist and capitalist goals. So there is no doubt that when the Taliban come to power, they will arrest and execute many activists in the society.
Anarchism in Afghanistan is young and our forces are small. However, we are following different paths to resist the advance of the Taliban because there is little revolutionary capacity for a free, autonomous and democratic society in Afghanistan that must be defended. Unfortunately, the global and inhuman plans were so precisely predetermined to block any effective activity.
Some of our anarchist comrades in Afghanistan even prepared for illegal immigration, but still encountered obstacles and could not escape the crisis. Now that everything is over and the Taliban are exactly about to seize power, the danger to the lives of the anarchists has reached its peak.
Now, our and their latest efforts must coordinate a way for them to leave. This is possible through financial cooperation so that they can enter neighboring countries, either legally or by smuggling them across borders, or through our formal or informal international relations to obtain asylum in safe countries, if possible.
Anarchist comrades outside Afghanistan may also send immigration invitations to our comrades, provided the embassies in question continue to operate before the Taliban can fully establish their government and their own security and intelligence agencies.
Another point is that, as a result of more than 40 years of war in Afghanistan, and especially the recent war of the Taliban, many people need financial help because they have been internally displaced or have lost their jobs due to the war and the situation of agitation; Financial assistance in this regard would be necessary and effective.
