Agenda: 1) Website 2) David Rovics Gig 3) Stalls 4) Left Forums 5) Banner
6) Food Distribution? 7) Bookfair EASF

1) The website should be up and running fairly soon, and more content is
being currently added. A date or deadline has not yet been set.
2) The David roves http://www.davidrovics.com gig is at Colchester
institute on the 3rd November. Polly is aiming to contact the organisers of
the gig with an offer of assistance. Hopefully we can do some promotion
for the gig, and do a bit of leafleting outside the venue on the day as a
means of promotion. This would have to be arranged before the 1st November.

3) A stall in town is at present unfeasible, and therefore our presence in
town should only be around other events, rather than a plain stall.
However, stalls on campus and leafleting at the college and institute
should be organised for November.

4) With the SWP concentrated on RESPECT it is likely that they will
reduce the number of Marxist forums. Therefore CAG should try to
attempt similar structured discussion meetings in town. Details need to be
decided but these forums should hopefully start at the end of November.
Also a few theoretical and practical discussions should be held on campus

More importantly aswell as theory and issue meetings specific long term
organising meeting should be arranged regarding the election,
anti-fascism, the G8, anti-nuclear campaigning and so on.

5) In the absence of a sewn banner a painted sheet stand in should be
made. If possible a banner making session could take place somewhere in
castle park in order to publicise, otherwise its round someones house
again, which given the weather seems a bit more likely.

6) This idea would act as a publicity stunt in Colchester, and would
involve re-distributing free food that would otherwise be wasted. The legal
ins and outs of this idea, and the extent to which we should avoid acting
as capitalisms public conscience means that this needs a lot more
discussion on how it could effectively be carried out.

7) Much more promotion is needed for the anarchist bookfair on the 27th

EASF- a side note really, but seeing as the next one is supposed to be in
Colchester on 21st November, we should be making more effort to
promote it.
