At the night of 10-5-04 cops shot dead two people in Lodz during
an evening youth event where football hooligans joined. The official
explanation of the cops was that somebody gave them wrong cartridges:
sharp instead of rubber bullets. That's really lame. That's what
people get after all those years of political campaigning by the
media about giving more rights to use firearms to the police.
We want to do something on the theme of taking firearms from police.
This comes a week after cops shot a person dead in Poznan because
his car looked like one used by mafia.
Anarchists in Poznan are preparing a demo for saturday demanding
to take away the right of cops to use rifles. The slogan is: "Disarm
the police, arm the society".
BTW, one activist of FA Lodz was also wounded with a rubber bullet
during the shootout in Lodz a couple of days ago. He has recovered now.
