Dear Friends and Comrades, The Winter-Spring 2004 issue of The
New Formulation: An Anti-authoritarian Review of Books is now
available. Please see the table of contents below.
The New Formulation contains comparative book reviews
examining the value of recent publications to the development of
contemporary anarchist theory and politics. Its purpose is to
help clarify the distinctness of an anarchist approach to social
affairs, to provide a forum for the integration of new works and insights
into the anarchist project, and to give authors struggling to redefine the
tradition a setting in which to share their research and reflections.

You can support the New Formulation in the following five ways:

1. Subscribe to the journal. Annual subscriptions (2 issues)
are $7 in the United States and $10 elsewhere. (Please make
checks payable to Charles
2. Get your bookstore, infoshop, or distributor to order the
journal and sell it on consignment.
3. Order the New Formulation in bulk and sell it at
conferences and gatherings. For orders within the United
States, five copies or more of the current issue can be
purchased for $1.75 each and for $1.50 each if you order more
than fifty.
4. Order back issues. Back issues are available for $1 per
