TRIAL, The Rhode Island Anarchist League
TRIAL at this point is a group in formation. We are working-class
anarchists who are active within our unions/workplaces,
neighborhoods and community groups to fight for a revolutionary
society free of oppression and exploitation. We envision a society
embracing true freedom: where workers control their workplaces and
are able to fully develop their talents and serve their community,
where all members of a community make decisions affecting them,
where necessities such as health care and education are a basic right
to all, and where domination of all kinds is a thing of the past.
We are a group open to all class struggle anarchists and libertarian
communists, including anarcho-communists, platformists,
anarcho-syndicalists and council/autonomist communists. We believe
organization is necessary to achieve the society we want, and
identify with the traditions in anarchism which embrace the
self-organization of the working class.
Our first project is hosting a weekly study group, meeting every
Monday night at 7pm. This group is open to anyone wishing to study
revolutionary ideas, you do not have to be a member of TRIAL to
attend and participate. If you are interested in being a member of
TRIAL e-mail rianarchists@yahoo.com. We are simply a loose group
of folks at this point but hope to develop into a true collective in the
near future.
