Self-Determination for DC and Iraq!! Percussion Protest and Feeder March
Bring Noisemakers: whistels, drums, buckets, or whatever else October 25, 11:30am
**Euclid and 15th Street Corner of Malcolm X Park NW WDC**
*Look for the banner that reads:
*Occupation is Not Liberation - Not Here, Not Anywhere*
This percussion protest and feeder march will gather to support the Black
Voices for Peace demonstration at Malcolm X Park and leave for a seperate
feeder march that heads through Columbia Heights and Shaw to the Washington
Convention Center, where DC's wealthy elite are holding the City Living
Convention: a campaign to attract 100,000 new wealthy residents to DC over
the next year. Here we'll meet up with some anti-capitalists who are starting
a different march at 7 and P, and head south to the larger demonstration of
thousands against the U.S. Occupation of Iraq happening on the mall.
Instigated by folks from Positive Force DC and Shirts Off Anti-Capitalist Coalition.
