15 squats are being evicted on Friday morning in St. Agnes Place, a long
term squatted street behind Kennington Park, south London.
They are asking for as many people as possible to go down from 9.30 to support
them... If you can go, or can let anyone know who can... Spread the word. The
squatters here did prevent demolition in the 70s, including occupying Lambeth
Town Hall, let's do it again.
For more info contact Use Your Loaf social centre:
Use Your Loaf Centre For Social Solidarity 227 Deptford High Street, SE8.

Use Your Loaf is a new social centre that has started up at 227 Deptford High
Street. Hotline: 07984 588807.

An old bakery, left abandoned for many years, has been occupied by local
people, working for ourselves. Sick of our destructive & opressive society,
trying to work towards a freer way of life.

What We Hope the Centre Will Become

The idea is that the centre will be self-managed, free from ties to the
council, political parties, etc that keep most community spaces under tight
control. This means Use Your Loaf will be self-funded, non-one gets paid and
all work is done freely and voluntarily.

Our vision for 'Use Your Loaf' is that it should be:

a resource for local people, for organising around workplace & community
issues and struggles;
a place for free expression and learning, a self-help space for local people
run by local people;
a free social space;
a meeting point for people wishing to work in a non-hierarchical and anti
manner, looking to create a world based on co-operation & solidarity, not
Info-shop. Loads of free leaflets, stickers on many issues and campaigns.

In fact - anything which depends or adds to our mutual quality of life.
