ANNOUNCEMENT: BRING THE RUCKUS NATIONAL MEETING MLK WEEKEND IN SUNNY LOS ANGELES
Bring the Ruckus will hold its national meeting in Los Angeles
from January 16-19th 2004. Less formal events will occur Friday
evening and Sunday morning and the formal discussions and
decisions will take place Saturday and Sunday. To attend the
meeting you must be a member of the organization or invited by a
member of the organization. Membership requirements can be
found at: http://www.agitatorindex.org/ruckus/contact.html.
If you wish to attend the meeting and are not a member, contact
your favorite member of BTR, though your least favorite member
of BTR will do in a pinch. The weekend will consist of skills
training, political discussion and debates about the politics of
Ruckus, an assessment of the past year of work of the
organization, the state of the world, the role of revolutionary
organizations such as BTR, the creation and ratification of
by-laws for the organization, the organizational plans and political
work of the organization for the upcoming year, and Gosh willing,
a new name.

Only members of the organization will be allowed to vote at the
meeting. We will provide housing for all members of BTR and
transportation to and from the airport. We will try our darndest to
provide housing and transportation for non-members, resources
permitting. We will feed you on Saturday and Sunday; be sure to
bring your own spending money to purchase Muscle Beach
souvenir tees and maps to the stars homes. Childcare will be
provided.

Registration forms for the conference are due by December 1st,
2003. Please email them to the conference committee at:

Discussion documents and position papers must be submitted by
December 1st 2003, preferably in electronic form and will be
distributed to attendees at least two weeks prior to the meeting.
