Announcing a LIVE BROADCAST from a Palestinian Refugee Camp in Montreal:
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 15th (12pm-5pm) BROADCASTING LIVE ON RADIO TAKTIC

On Saturday Nov. 15th, The Coalition Against the Deportation of
Palestinian Refugees, along with Block the Empire Montreal, Solidarity for
Palestinian Human Rights (SPHR) and the No One is Illegal Campaign* will
construct a symbolic Palestinian refugee camp in Montreal and Radio Taktic
will be broadcasting LIVE from the Alternative Bookstore 2033, St-Laurent.
This action is part of the ongoing struggle of over 100 Palestinian
refugees, facing deportation from Canada in the coming weeks and months.
The major focus of this action is to build awareness about the struggle of
Montreal's Palestinian refugees against deportation at the hands of
Citizenship & Immigration Canada, while providing a history and context to
the global crisis of the millions of Palestinian refugees throughout the
world.

Radio Taktic (radio.taktic.org) will be broadcasting live coverage
(including interviews, discussions, and a live microphone on the street)
from the encampment from Noon to 5pm on Saturday.  We will also begin
airing pre-recorded interviews, reports, and panel discussions Friday,
November 14th, beginning at 8pm.  YOU are encouraged to REbroadcast this
audio, TUNE-in, and tell a friend.

Radio Taktic (initially known as Rock the WTO Radio) was launched July 26,
2003 by covering the 5 days of mobilization against the World Trade
Organization (WTO) Mini-Ministerial meeting that took place July 28 and 29
in Montreal. Since that time, Radio Taktic continues to broadcast,
building a common space for Montreal's communities engaged in struggles
against the Canadian state.
