I've just put the following texts on the
www.af-north.org website.  They are ones I've moved
over from the old Subversion site.
They form part of a collection of articles on the
German revolution 1918-23.  Jan Appel's story is quite
short and inspirational!  he wanted to visit Moscow to
tell lenin what he was doing wrong - so he boarded a
ship and persuaded its crew to mutiny and take him there!
All the files are directly accessible from links on

The Origins of the Movement for Workers Councils in
Germany 1918 - 23
The revolution that swept Germany at the end of World
War 1 and the emergence of a mass movement opposed to
parliament, the unions and reforms.  Details the
origins of the KAPD, the AAUD and some German
anarchist-syndicalist unions.
Jan Appel's Story.
The recollections of a revolutionary worker active in
the German Revolution.
The Wilhelmshaven Revolt sub-titled 'A Chapter of the
Revolutionary Movement in the German Navy, 1918-1919'.
Another text on the German Revolution.  This time the
tale of how the sailors rebelled and set up their own
soviets.  Written by 'Ikarus', a participant.
Rosa Luxemburg Leninism or Marxism?  This may seem a
strange one to find on an anarchist web site, but it
shows that even in 1904, revolutionary Marxists like
Luxemburg had begun to see the way Lenin was heading
towards counter revolution.
