As you know, the next G8 summit will occur in France, in Evian.
Mobilization is going on in Annemasse, Geneva and Lausanne.
- The main anarchist organizations in France and Switzerland are
grouped in the Convergence of anti-authoritarian anticapitalist
struggles against the G8 (Claaacg8, www.claaacg8.org), as well as
spanish, italian and english organizations.
Your organization can still join the Claaacg8.
- An alternative anticapitalist and anti-war village will be
built in Annemasse (Vaaag, www.vaaag.org). The Claaacg8 supports
the Vaaag. The Claaacg8 will have its own big tent in the Vaaag.
The village will be a place for convergence, meeting and common
social experiments for all the activists. Be careful, trotskists
organize another village (Intergalactic village) as they try to
break the mobilization.
All the activists coming to Annemasse should come with their
tent. The village will start on May 28th and end on June 3rd (end
of the summit).
3 days of debates are scheduled:
- 5/29: "Social struggles here and there"
- 5/30: "War inside / war outside"
- 5/31: "Resistance is creation"
We hope that all the comrades will enrich our discussion!

On June 1st, a demonstration will occurs in Annemasse and Geneva
(the towns are close ont to the other). The Claaacg8 organizes a
red and black block in this demonstration. Banners in the
direction of the march will be only Claaacg8 ones. Organizations
can have their banners on the side (please take banners without
rods. We invite all the activists to join the red and black
block. The departure of the demonstration will be in Geneva if
borders are kept open, at the Annemasse station otherwise.
