It was reported today in Minnesota mainstream press that
Capt. Bill Chandler a Hennepin County Sheriff who has
"expertise" in counterterrorism spoke to law enforcers about
various "extreme" groups and told them to be aware of these
potential trouble makers.  The official said that these groups
are not terrorist but deemed them "domestic identified
groups that may affect our communities." Further noting that
animal liberation front and the earth liberation front are
worst than al-qaida in Minnesota.  The article went on
lumping together right-wing groups with the anarchist.  It
mentioned the anarchist who are involved with a local lefty
bookstore called Arise Bookstore Collective.  This is all
breaking news and we don't know the outcome and the reason
for it at this time.  My own personal critique would be to
remember history and to look at the various campaigns
against the Black Panthers and other radical groups that
were targeted by conterplo.  More news to follow as this un
 folds.
