Whomever they elect, we are ungovernable! Smash the NGA!
 From August 16th-19th, the National Governors' Association,
consisting of the governors of all 50 states and U.S. colonies, will be
convening in Indianapolis. The conference will culminate on the 19th
with a visit from "our" President, George W. Bush. The governors will
be meeting behind closed doors with members of their "Corporate
Fellows Program" to cooridinate policy decisions on a range of topics
from education to the environment to the economy.

We will be there to say no the governors' pandering to corporate
interests and the obvious lack of accountability to the communities
that they purport to represent. Furthermore, we will aim to challenge
the legitimacy of their positions and the system that they represent.

With these aims in mind, we are working to collaborate with a variety
of communities to make this convergence a success. While we intend
to do serious work to make this a regional event which will be of real
value to the growth of the anarchist movement, our main emphasis will
be on doing grassroots outreach in our city. We encourage other
collectives and groups throughout the Midwest to make a similar
outreach effort to build for this convergence, as well as all events. We
hope that the protests over the course of these days will feature a
representative sample of those peoples fucked over by the NGA, its
corporate taskmasters, and similar rackets.

This is only a preliminary call. It will be followed soon by more details
on the NGA, this conference, the convergence, and our schedule of
spokescouncils, workshops, protests, etc. Please spread the word and
get in touch with us- your input, suggestions, and ideas for
autonomous action will be much appreciated at this stage of planning.
