So unfortunately there was an error in the the call that was sent
out for the Anarchist Gathering, listing the wrong date, July 14th,
a Monday.  The Gathering is actually for Saturday, July 12th.
The corrected call follows below.  A more detailed call will be
issued a couple weeks prior to the gathering.

This is an invitation to all New Jersey (and other) anarchists and
anti-authoritarians to the first statewide New Jersey Anarchist
Gathering on SATURDAY, July 12, 2003.

This is not a call for a meeting, but a call for a informal day of
fun, networking, and socializing. Our movement has long been far
to fractured, with many individuals and groups existing in total
isolation from the larger movement in this state. Many people are
active without even knowing a New Jersey movement exists,
and focus all their energies playing support roles within groups in
New York City and Philadelphia. It's time we focused on
strengthening our movement for struggle within our own
communities.

Before we can work to create a stronger Anarchist movement
within our state, we need to start building the most basic links
with each other and begin to dialogue and work together. It is our
hope that this gathering can begin to build these kinds of links.
Bring good food(clearly labeled), soccer balls(or any other
sports/game equipment), an open mind, and a desire to meet new
people. The gathering will take place in Buccleuch Park, in New
Brunswick, from noon till 6pm. Plans are not yet finalized, so
please send any suggestions or ideas to
nbanarchistunion@riseup.net. We hope to see everyone there.
