Recognizing the common roots of all forms of oppression, The Activism
Center at Wetlands Preserve fights for human, animal, and earth
liberation through protest, nonviolent civil disobedience, street
theater, political advocacy, and public education.

About twice a year, we try to get together to look at some of the big
picture questions that we aren't able to address in weekly meetings.

Join us to regroup, plan our future and overall  direction, and
consider the new  political realities affecting our work.  Whether
you are a Wetlands veteran or have never been to a meeting before,
this is a great opportunity to lend your thinking to our efforts for
human, earth, and animal liberation.

Date: TOMORROW, Sunday, June 8th

Time:  Noon-7 PM  (approximate end time-- we may end earlier or
later, depending on what is needed)

Food: Bring vegan or freegan goodies to share (not required, of
course).  Plus, other good foodstuffs will be provided by Brooklyn
Food Not Bombs.
