The Redaccion news agency (ANRed) distributes information about workers',
student's and social conflicts since 1995.
It contributes to the comunication and strengthen of popular and poorest
sectors through different ways of work:
1- Graphic publications as a newspaper and zonal minor productions. We also
have a site on the internet www.anred.org
2- The community comunication net has the porpouse of distributing press
materials of unemployed workers, neibourhood groups("asambleas barriales"),
tradeunions, productions of social organizations in conflict, and alternative
newspapers. 220 receptors receive the envelopes with diverse publications.

3- The sending of press messagges to national media when strikes, conflicts,
and social movements'fights and claims. We work with unemployed workers
movements as MTD Anibal Veron and others.We also articulate our work with
other alternative media as www.argentina.indymedia.org

We are interested in contacting local and foreign people into helping this
proyect.

First of all, I'm glad to receiving your answer. I would like to emphasize
that we are as antiauthoritarian as wider in content.
Although we work with indymedia just in some aspects, our work is different.
Not only do we have an alternative newsdaily, we also developed an
alternative news agency whose function consist in penetrating the massmedia,
in order to break the isolation to which social organizations are confined
by the government. This breaking is very important as it avoids that the
popular organizations be repressed deliberately by the repression forces. We
consider that this is one of the most important role of the alternative
media, protect and expand the work of the popular movement.
If you are interested in knowing more about us, I suggest we keep in
contact. I would like also to know about your media and its political line.
Meanwhile, I really appreciate if you can contribute to the expansion of our
newly inaugurated site www.anred.org , by incoporating it in your webpage
(or some news we produce) or just spreading the voice.
