The 4 young people accused of being the authors of the bomb that exploded
in the Post Office remained under custody in the High Command of police
from Valencia until yesterday and today they will be transferred to the
National Court. One of the young people had to be liberated - this
remained unoticed by the bourgeois press, as it reproduced textually the
policial version - a fact that confirms further the illegality of the
framings. The "evidences" found in the detainees homes are only some panphlets and a
gas-mask, and the informatic material taken from the police from the
Ateneo Libertario headquarts. The police accuses them of many deeds
without specifying anything, they want to make these young people
responsible so that they can hide all their inefficency and to "solve"
cases they cannot clarify easily. It is curious that these
detentions were done after the CGT has put the
Post administration under pressure to explain why the security measures
failed. The Posts have kept a total secrecy regarding the internal enquiry
to establish whethter the scanner that should have detected the explosives
has failed. The support actions have come immediatelly and there has been calling for
demos in various cities. The mother of one of the
detainees, Eduardo José A.S., remained this
morning at the door-steps of the Police High Command, complained not to be
able to have contact with her son since his framing, last Monday, and not
allowed even to send him clothes.
