 > The striking waiters at David's Jade Palace are in need of your financial support.
These restaurant workers of the Hartsdale, New York (Westchester County)
Chinese restaurant have been on strike since May of this year. The workers
were fired by owner David Eng after demanding, payment of stolen tips, union
recognition and the end of sweatshop conditions.
Waiters at David's Jade Palace have had their tips stolen by the owner and
have slaved under terrible conditions. The workers have sought to organize
in the self-managed independent 318 Restaurant Workers Union  and have taken
legal action to recoup lost tips. The waiters and supporters (including anarcho-syndicalists)
maintain pickets to also pressure the owner to recognize their demands. As
well as to convince the public from eating at the restaurant.

It looks like the struggle will take some time.  The waiters are now in need
of your financial solidarity. Money is needed to help pay the strikers
transportation and other expenses directly related to strike activities.
Please help.
