Just a reminder about the Jura Working Bee THIS Saturday 5th
July from 9am @ Jura 440 Parramatta Rd Petersham 9550 9931
This is going to be a BIG ONE, for the Poster
Exhibition that evening... 6pm-8pm
In case anyone missed it we've had the following
publicity in the mass media for the event:
- article on page 5 of the SMH yesterday
- article on page 3 of the Glebe this week
- article in GreenLeft
- half an hour discussion and talkback on 2BL/702
about it last night from 8.30-9pm
- interview on drivetime at 2SER last night (thanks
Sunny and Ben!)

This means that the night's probably going to be
rediculously big.

We've got tonnes to do just to clean the place up on
Saturday.

In particular we're looking for:
- people with cars to come to help us to take some
archive boxes into storage.
- any office cupboards that we can use for storage
(i.e. cupboards, just not the ones for clothes - we
want lots of shelves)
- people who are willing to make and bring along some
food for the evening. Nibblies are the main thing -
cheese, crackers, dips, cut up veges, turkish bread,
etc. We decided to ask people to do this if they can
so that we can spread some of the cost and the work of
the night out.
- people who can volunteer to do a 'job' on the night,
like staff the front desk, do booksales, look after
food and drinks, mind the posters upstairs - make sure
they aren't stollen.

Anyway, hope to see you at sometime on Saturday.

All the best,
Nick

at Jura Books junk cleaning. It draw lot of attention from Many
nostalgics...]
