Prague:Anarchists against war
Czech parliament has been negotiating about joining the war on the side of
United States today. Czech politicians have been so pleased by US proposal
(request) to reinforce czech chemical troops in Kuwait and fight against
Iraq with US Army. Czech Minister of Defence Tvrdik told to soldiers in
public speech:? To die for a good thing is a nice death.? Most of czech
people are against the war.
Three representatives of Czechoslovak Anarchist Federation came to
parliament today with pickets that were saying ?Tvrdik, go die for that
nice thing in first line!? and ?Czech chemists and american petrochemists
- hooray against Bagdad?. They also distributed leaflets with both
political message against the war and capitalism and parodical reasons why
to fight the war. Corporative medias wanted their sensations so they had
announced anarchist representatives as demonstration, so on the place
waited lot of police, in the backyard was prepared over 150 cops.
By latest news czech Minister of Defence Tvrdik is not willing to go die
in Iraq, but he told to medias that in the case of war he and his family
will be in danger of death. Hmm, that´s the war, Tvrdik, people are dying
there.
