The horrific reality of Bush?s war against everything
is becoming more apparent everyday-and indeed, more
and more terrifying. In a matter of months, the US
imperialist policies, home and abroad, have violently
intensified more than any other time in history.
Already In Afghanistan, the US military has killed
thousands of people. The US spends billions funding
genocidal policies against the Palestinian people. In
Colombia, the US is escalating a civil war in which
thousands of labor activists and peasants have been
murdered. In Iraq, economic sanctions and radioactive
weaponry have killed hundreds of thousands in the
decade since the last war. Not only that, but there is
plan to actually use nuclear arms against the peoples
of Iraq. At home, the US patriot act continues the
assault on civil liberties, as well as a fascistic
approach to immigration-round ups and deportations.
Their market continues to decline, as the corrupt
policies of the rich cause increased unemployment and
poverty. Indeed, the US war on terror may very well be
the death of us.

This sorry state of the world, sadly, is nothing new.
Those in power know this, economists know this, and
more and more of us are starting to realize this. The
war has been going on, even in peacetime. This is not
a war between the peoples of the US and the rest of
the world-although our media would have you believe
that. The war is capitalism, is imperialism, is white
supremacy, is patriarchy-the war is domination.

The war is the systems we live under-what fuels them,
and what perpetuates their legitimacy. If the war
stops in Iraq, you will be sure it will begin
elsewhere. Our economic and political system could not
function otherwise. The fact that the US has plans to
move troops into North Korea, and that the US states
openly that there will be an 18 month occupation in
Iraq to secure oil fields only solidifies this
horrible prophecy.

?and it aint gonna change unless we make it.

On Feb 15th there will be a Massive Statewide
demonstration in Colorado Springs in solidarity with
the millions around the world demonstrating against
the war. Thousands are predicted to attend. It may
quite possibly be the largest anti-war demonstration
Colorado has seen since the 60s-it will definitely be
the largest the Springs has ever seen.

Knowing what we know-seeing this world in flames at
face value, we can not, and will not be quiet or
solemn in our opposition to another war waged against
the poor people of the world-a world not built for us,
but on top of us.

Moreover, we chose not to simply demonstrate our
opposition to such a vile system, but to celebrate a
people?s history-of resistance and liberation. A
herstory consistent with all peoples since the
inception of capital (and even before that.) And like
those before us, we refuse to chant quietly and we
refuse to live in fear.

Join us: for a revolutionary anti-war breakaway
march-street party style.

Gather at Maizeland and Academy in Palmer Park at
12:30 sharp. Look for large pink and black flags, RAWR
banners, and sexy revolutionaries.
