On May 3rd 2003 thousands of people will come to Austin Texas to
protest the defense industry and its stranglehold on the Texas
economy. The event is organized by the American Friends Service
Committee and is called the Texas Showdown. There will be feeder
marches across the city and there are plans for civil
disobiedence the following Monday May 5th. We are a new Anarchist
organization that calls itself "The Cluster of Dirty Kids who
Scream Class War". We are not a collective but a cluster of loose
affinity groups. We are a mixture of older and younger comrades
of diverse political opinions within the Anarchist movement.
We are calling for a Revolutionary
Anti-Imperialist Bloc within the day's festivities. We are
asking you to join us. The anti-war movement in the US as
a whole has been diverse, loud and in some cases
militant. Anarchist comrades across the country have
participated in all facets of the protests and organizing.
However in many cases, while we bring our experience and
fire to the table, we have checked our analysis at the
door. This has been the case in Texas. We are asking
our comrades across Texas and the nation to join us and make the
participation of Anarchists loud, visible, articulate and
uncompromising. It was once said that "war is the health
of the state". Let us then end war and sicken the state.
With a strong diverse movement that is willing to address
the connection between war and capital, how can we be silent?
We are asking our comrades to come join us and bring
a diversity of tactics. We are also asking that they bring
  a diversity of analysis. We are asking for propaganda of
both word and deed within a traditional militant bloc.

We hope that you can participate with us. We are asking that
those who are going to be present arrive in town the night
before. We will be holding a spokescouncil to
decided the specifics of our march route and our tactical
objectives. We welcome and encourage those who wish to
participate in this to do so. We are willing to provide
housing to out of town comrades as well. Please contact us
ahead of time to coordinate and we look forward to being
with you in the streets. If you can not be here the nite
before the Bloc will be forming up at 11th and Lavaca in
dowtown Austin at 11am on May 3rd. We are asking that
comrades both circulate and endorse this call.
