-RAWR! Earth Day Celebration, April 22nd
RAWR! (Revolutionary Anti-War Response) will be meeting in City
Park at the Martin Luther King statue at 3:30 on Tuesday the
22nd for a brief Earth Day rally.We will then be marching, skipping,
biking, skateboarding and driving a  bio-diesel bus to a pre-
determined target to protest oil and and celebrate Earth Day and the
benefits of renewable energy and alternative transportaion.

-Confronting Empire Talks & Discussions, April 22nd-27th
In these times of perpetual warfare and globalized capitalism, it is
important for those of us struggling to create a better world to
move beyond simply being anti-war, and orient our politics toward a
broader critique  of power. In an effort to contribute to that
process, Breakdown Books Collective is presenting Confronting Empire;
four nights of discussions dealing with the current war, the issue of
imperialism, and the state of the antiwar movement.  See the

May Day 2003, May 1st
This May Day celebration is especially important to the radical
community as the United States drives it's war machine straight
down the tubes.  Festivities are currently being planning for Acacia
Park in Colorado Springs. Events begin at 11:30am with bands and
speakers. Bring banners leaflets and an enthusiasim for social

Colorado Palestine Day, May 15th
The first annual Colorado Palestine Day is being organized to help
raise awareness of the plight of the Palestinian people.  This is an
apolitical event, so everyone is welcome.  Details and events can be

-CU Shantytown Speaks Out
[04.19.03] For the past week the Northlin Quad on the CU-Boulder
campus has housed more than 40 people who have formed a circle of
tents to protest the war. Aside from a few problems, the shantytown
has been very positive . A live-in has also been form on the Auraria
campus. People are encouraged to join in or visit.

-SWAN Formed!
[04.18.03] After an amazing weekend in Tempe, AZ, the
Southwest Anarchist Network (SWAN) has finally been formed!
Details and a website are still in the works, all of which will be
posted here ASAP.

Police will continue intelligence gathering
[04.18.03] Will the suit against the Denver Police Dept. finally
wrapping up, police say they will continue intelligence gathering on
groups suspected of criminal activity, but have been ordered not to
keep records of non-violent groups.

[04.17.03] Denver activists climbed 80 feet to drop the
message "United States Goes Postal" on a huge banner. No one was
arrested.
