With less than two months to go to 1st May, and with 
the political temperature rising around the world, 
London activists met last week to plan their 
activities for Mayday in the capital. While the finer 
details are still being debated, it's clear that London 
Mayday should return to its origins, celebrating and 
acting in solidarity with past and present struggles 
for a better life and a better world.

In times of war only the boss class can benefit, with 
workers and the landless suffering. So expect 
anti-war events on 1st May. Prepare to oppose the 
profit motive behind the arms trade and capitalism, 
and their exploitation of workers around the world. 
Get ready to target the warmongers and politicians 
preparing to play with the lives of millions of people.
Once again, Freedom will report on the run-up to 
Mayday. We'll publicise events and welcome reports, 
comments and debate from activists. Mayday is our 
day.
