Vigil to Free Satpal Ram
Thursday 16th March 2000
The re-scheduled meeting with Paul Boteng will take place this
Thursday 16th March between
1pm and 2pm
A delegation, including Satpal's brother Mahinder, Gareth Pierce his
solicitor, John McDonnell MP and others will be going in to meet Paul
Boateng, to ask for Satpal's Release.
There will be a vigil outside the:
Home Office
50 Queen Anne's Gate,
London SW1H 9AT
from 12.30pm to 2.00pm the same day.
Afterwards there will be a Satpal campaign group meeting to report on
the Boateng meeting.
There are a number of events coming up where the campaign will need help to
distribute leaflets etc. raise the profile.
On Saturday 15th April Vasakhi will be celebrated in Southall an all day event.
The Free Satpal Ram Campaign are organising a banner, truck and
literature for this and
are calling upon volunteers to come down and help on the day. this is
really important and even if you can only spare a few hours. we are
going to meet at 11.am at the Southall Monitoring Group offices, 14
Featherstone Road, Southall.
