escalation of the U.S. military's assault on the people of Iraq. There

During the last couple of weeks we have experienced a vast expansion 
of the civil demonstrations against the fence. The brute force of 
the army that was applied against the Palestinian demonstrators did 
not succeed in suppressing the non-violent struggle. Even the Israeli 
attempt to put the region on fire by murdering the sheikh Ahmad Yasin 
failed.

Questa scritta Х comparsa su di un pannello di un paio di metri collocato 
ai piedi del monumento ai bersaglieri in Corso Galileo Ferraris a Torino. 
Il monumento questa sera Х stato coperto da un lungo drappo di stoffa. Un 
drappo di stoffa che copre la vergogna di monumenti dedicati ad assassini 
in divisa, gli stessi assassini che poche ore prima avevano sparato ed 
ucciso 15 civili iracheni tra cui due bambini.

The Ex-Grand Banks Occupied Social Centre at 156-158 Fortess Road, which opened 
it's doors 5 weeks ago, at the end of February, is now under threat of eviction. 
The building - an ex-wine bar - had lain empty for over 2 years until 
we sqatted it, cleaned it up and opened the doors to the community. In 
a very short space of time we have built up an enormous amount of 
local support with large numbers of school students - who last year 
had their youth centre closed down...
