(en) Poland, Employee Initiative, More porters injured - picket on outstanding wages for porters (February 2020, Poznan) by Vision Group [machine translation]

Date Fri, 27 Mar 2020 09:50:17 +0300

Another group of injured porters and porters came to the Workers' Initiative. Six people did not receive remuneration for January 2020, roughly PLN 2,500 net. The user employer was the Vision Group company. The same, for which about 20 people worked guarding the buildings of the Board of Municipal Housing Resources, claiming today overdue remuneration for two months of 2018. The Employee Initiative has repeatedly protested in this matter. Prosecution proceedings are also pending. ---- Vision Group operates in Poznan and the surrounding area in several places. In 2018, she provided property security services for ZKZL, guarding six facilities. After disclosing that she did not meet the employment standards, the client terminated the contract. However, employees did not receive the remuneration due to them in October and November 2018.

Vision Group does not directly employ employees, but for this purpose it uses temporary work agencies, which - it seems - are fictitious entities. For example, they effectively avoid PIP controls. First it was the KAIO company, then CAPREA (which did not pay the salary to 20 people from the ZKZL buildings). Now it is the APT KG Premium Service Ltd. agency with headquarters in Warsaw, which is in arrears with 6 persons guarding the facility in Koninek near Poznan. These people have previously worked for both KAIO and CAPREI.

The people employed in Koninku are bound by civil law contracts, they work 240 hours a month, and the salary is PLN 10.50 per hour "on hand". Considering previous experience, one can have serious doubts whether they have correctly paid ZUS contributions and whether employee rights are respected.

Vision Group and temporary employment agencies provided by the company have a terrible opinion on gowork.pl. In one of the entries we read: "... a contract for services with an employee is concluded for 1 hour of work per month, i.e. a rate of 14.70 gross and from this hour contributions are transferred to ZUS or the Tax Office. There are a lot of situations where they do not pay wages, e.g. when the contract ends at a facility, they can not pay the employees for the last 2 months of work, and then[temporary employment agency]is liquidated (there are many such cases) and thus there is no connection financial and claim from the Vision Group and that's how they work, deceiving people. " Unfortunately, we have to confirm this relationship. According to our knowledge, there may be hundreds of people injured in the whole country.

As we find out, the Vision Group company also protects ENEI buildings in Poznan.
