(en) Poland, Workers' initiative: Let us build social resistance in the name of full democracy - economic and political! [machine translation]

Protest against changes in the judicial system, Warsaw 24.07.2017 ---- A leaflet prepared
by the Warsaw Environmental Commission of OZZ IP distributed during the demonstration
against changes in the judicial system in July this year. ---- Organize yourself! In
schools, workplaces and wherever possible! Let us build universal social resistance in the
name of full democracy - economic and political! ---- We oppose the Sejm's legislation
passed by the Sejm on the National Council of Judiciary, on the system of the common
courts and on the Supreme Court. We do not agree to the concentration of power in the
hands of nationalists and extreme conservatives. PiS '"social" face is a mask underneath
which is the continuation of the neo-liberal policy of predecessors. We will not allow the
authoritarian right to be assimilated by taking over courts that will condemn workers and
workers, evict pavilions, and secure police brutality even more so than they have so far.
We will not tolerate the use of legitimate and mass protests of society as an election
campaign for the people who have led to the present situation.
We act against these laws not in the interest of the constitution, the tripartite power,
or the interests of privileged civil servants. All of them and the rules that they make
and enforce, only on paper are to defend the interests of working people. The Polish
State, with its "independent" yet court, sentenced the Labor Initiative activist Marcel
Gray to a fine for defending the rights of workers and workers from Cegielski's factories
in Poznan. Anarchist activist Lukasz Bukowski was sentenced to 3 months in jail for
blocking eviction. Through the months and years of the trials, the struggle for the rights
of those whose lives did not flow into the luxuries, honors and privileges of today's
bizarre leaders of the "opposition" has prevented the struggle.
Leszek Balcerowicz, co-author and co-contractor of the neoliberal reforms of the 1990s,
bears a share of political responsibility for the current events. The distribution of
Polish society, the inequality and the dominance of the satisfied elites that sold the
foundations of the Solidarity program are the main products of the "great success of
transformation", and thus the source of the success of the authoritarian Law and Justice.
We are against the actions of the Government of the Law and Justice, because its actions
threaten us all - people working. Entrepreneurs who exploit us on a daily basis will be
able to handle under the wing of today's "freedom fighters" from the liberal party and the
CODE. Frasyniuk, Schetyna, Petru, Kyiv - all of them were, or are still, apprentices of
wild capitalism, enriching the exploitation of ordinary people.
We will not listen to them, but we will protest against the anti-social and
anti-democratic attacks of PiS.
We will not defend the courts and the law on which they condemn us. We want justice to
repair and social control over the judiciary!
We will not defend the state that sends us the police. We will fight for a real,
We will not defend the interests of liberal elites. We will fight to meet the needs of all
workers and workers!
We will not be against these elites in a row with nationalists from the PiS, who are
building a police state. We will respond to the fascist threat!
