The first editorial

Launch a new national daily paper, it's a crazy bet. it is even more when it is an initiative of actresses and actors of social progress: associative, trade union activists, popular education, political organizations, humanist, citizen, etc.

Daily information and opinion entirely financed by subscriptions and without advertising, this is our conception of an independent newspaper and committed, but without dogmatism. Whether the operation - collective decision-making, equal pay - or the editorial line - (re) give voice to those who are involved in civic life, this newspaper is seen as a tool to participate in the construction of social progress and overcome divisions. For this reason, it will be open daily ticket to the social movement, favoring a free and rotating floor. Fernand Pelloutier, first secretary of the Labour Exchanges Federation in 1892, saw his famous phrase "teach to revolt" as "the art of cultivating and grow enough for other men can govern themselves and enjoy them- same ": this is the whole point of building a project of individual emancipation, collective, secular by refusing fatalism.

Tuesday to Friday, Social Progress will take the form of a 4 pages with a hierarchical information, critical and wealthy. By choosing paper, at a time when the "all digital" stands as absolute finality, we reaffirm that journalism can not be exonerated from this support.

Every Saturday an additional 4 pages make room for themes colors happy days: international, labor law, public education, economy, sports, music, cinema, literature, outings, science, anti-fascism, fair trade ... many subjects animated by a team of thirty additional contributors.

There will be no surprise that the lively Social Progress will require both subscriptions in number but also it becomes a real tool for reflection and action. We will do everything for that to be the case!
