Valero Leander, died Aug. 21 at Auxerre. ---- The son of an Andalusian anarchist, Leander
was born in Oran, Algeria, on 12 in October 1923. He had multiple origins for these to be

Valero took advantage of the amnesty by De Gaulle to return to Auxerre in 1958, where he
hire themselves in Fruehauf. He animated the powerful CGT union in 1960 and entered the
Secretariat of the UD-CGT of the Yonne.
The CGT union of Fruehauf in May 1968 was the first to launch a strike in
the Yonne, which would make Valero Leander one of the leaders of
movement in the department.
Retired in 1983, Leander, who had never ceased to be an anarchist, had joined
Alternative to libertarian at its founding in 1991. He remained there until 2000.
