Seminar militant ---- "The bourgeoise always tend to identify freedom with chaos, we have
organized - enthusiasm not obedience, every man and woman is responsible for and to
others, that is our strength"-Buenaventura-Durrruti - Every Tuesday from 4-6 pm Room 114,
Building No 212 Multiple Classrooms Faculty of Human Sciences Universidad Nacional de
Colombia Bogotá ---- Opening Session: Tuesday, August 24 ---- Visit us:
http://grupolibertariovialibre.blogspot.com/ ---- Write: grupolibertariovialibre@gmail.com
Libertarian group Via Libre ---- Introduction ---- Libertarian Communism is a social and
political doctrine structured around the struggle for freedom and equality of persons and
peoples. ---- It considers the main obstacles to the full realization of human beings are
the relations of domination and oppression that capitalism and the state have on workers
and the impoverished world. Thus arises Revolutionary change this situation, through
intensive and sustained efforts to create a new world, lies and the possibilities are and
nesting material and grows in the hearts of the oppressed.
It is also a school of thought is rich in ideas, proposals and
concepts. In its development there have always been many different
theoretical and practical contributions and it has the virtue of being
more of a continuous and collective elaboration than a final draft of
a personal project. However, the Colombian media over the past years
has been very poor and only now it is taken up the interest to analyze
their body of theory in depth.
As part of that effort to deepen the theory and politics, the seminar
was started. It aims to discuss both the key works of classical
theorists of libertarian thought, as well as more recent contributions
of activists and researchers, in a perspective that seeks to enrich
the outlook of the participants.
Objective: To Initiate and deepen the systematic study of the
doctrines and ideas that laid the theoretical current of Libertarian
Communism from a militant vision of research, considering the theory
driving the practice of transformation.
Methodology seminar
- Read previous articles by all attendees "They would like all the
people who attend meetings to have read the texts agreed upon for the
occasion. This will present a greater variety of readings and views
that will allow a fuller and richer version of the texts. This also
encourages the development of participatory discussions that will
capture the attention of the audience and therefore have greater
complexity and greater importance.
- Each session should seek to develop a particular way of teaching
which the workshop leader will be responsible for. The idea is that
through this seminar the participants are integrated with each other,
creating connections and trust key to transformative action. Also this
kind of teaching method, ensures the seminar will not be a traditional
space and confined in the academy, but a space in continuous
re-invention, where fun and the participation of all play an important
role.
- One participant presents a paper written on the text and considers
the most interesting aspects of it. A different participant in each
session should submit a comment of at least one page, setting out the
key ideas of the text, and the items that generate the most curiosity
and the most controversial proposals. To achieve an effective rotation
of this work, the members of Via Libre will take responsibility for
the first sessions and then this will be entrusted to the people who
follow the seminar and show greater interest in its contents.
A participant will take the written notes in the session and present
it at the next meeting. It should be a record of ideas contained in
the sessions and the discussions on them developed. Therefore it is
necessary that several participants do this work and given that the
seminars seek to encourage the active participation of all concerned,
this responsibility will rotate.
Methodology of meetings
Regular sessions were developed as follows: 1) Introduction of new
members, if any. 2) Presentation of the report of the last meeting and
discussion on its correction. 3) Presentation of the presenter's
paper. 4) Development of teaching by the presenter 5) General
discussion on the text and presentation.
