(en) Union of Syndicalists ZSP: Hostel24 is still not paying! [machine translation]

Date Tue, 14 Jan 2020 07:54:30 +0200

The Association of Polish Syndicalists continues to protest against Hostel 24 located on ul. Lelewela 35a in Bydgoszcz. The protest is related to the lack of salary payments for former employees of the Hostel. Some employees did not receive payrolls even in 2013! The employer does not pay despite the existence of final payment orders. ---- There have already been two protests under the Hostel itself and under the Hostel manager's villa. The matter became quite loud in the local media in Bydgoszcz: an article from Gazeta Pomorska and a broadcast from Radio Pik . ---- This Saturday at 14:00, at Hostel 24 on ul. Lelewela 35a there will be another ZSP picket. ---- Below is a video from the previous picket under the Hostel manager's house. ---- The management of DSE, which owns Hostel 24, posted a message on the hostel's website saying that "Hostel 24 Bed & Breakfast was never an employer of people participating in demonstrations" and called the demand for payment for the work done "unlawful extortion" and informed on "submitting a notification to the Prosecutor's Office of suspected offense".

Such activities, which discredit the Board completely, will not, of course, cause the Association of Polish Syndicalists to cease their activities, which are aimed at obtaining due payment for former hostel employees.
