LEHNING. Arthur Lehning (1899-2000) was born in Utrecht (Netherlands). This anti-militarist and anarcho-syndicalist militant in Berlin in the 1920s. With the arrival of Nazism, he returned to Holland. Passionate about modern art and literature, he founded the magazine 10 I (1927-1929). In 1935, he was one of the founders of the International Institute of Social History in Amsterdam where are preserved many records of the libertarian movement.
