In recent days, following the events of the demonstrations on December 1 for the 
inauguration of Enrique Peña Nieto as president, in which the police forces, both federal 
Federal District brutally repressed demonstrators, Officials of the Federal District, 
including those found himself head of government and the capital's attorney, have made 
statements declaring that those responsible for the clashes are anarchist groups.--Before 
this we want to clarify: ---- The Anarchist Black Cross is an initiative libertarian 
Mexico, our work is aimed to extend solidarity with prisoners, both common called as those 
imprisoned for their ideas and political actions and anarchists, accompanying them in 
their legal processes, spreading his letters and making outreach events in their status, 
repressive anti conducted workshops, promoting self-organization in our neighborhoods and 
communities; as well as knowledge of legal defense strategies, under the idea that 
repression is a mechanism inherent in the Capital and the State, which does not hesitate 
to use to maintain the domination and exploitation in which this system is based; also 
disseminate ideas and thinking anti-prison, driving the debate about the nature of social 
control of the prison, and their role in maintaining the capitalist system.

As an initiative, our efforts are aimed at these tasks, which have been made public. All

In the mass media has been mentioned that among the male and female detainees are persons 
belonging to anarchist groups. Before this goes without saying that none of those arrested 
belong to Mexico Anarchist Black Cross, however, express our absolute solidarity with all 
people who have been arrested and demanded his immediate release.

We understand that these statements, which are intended to become involved as perpetrators 
of the events of the demonstrations are part of a campaign of criminalization and 
persecution against groups and individuals anarchists and libertarians. Marcelo Ebrard has 
been characterized by identifying and criminalizing anarchist groups, from his tenure as 
Secretary of Public Safety of the City, so it is not strange to us this season and we see 
these signs in a rematch against us because of the work we have been conducted mainly in 
solidarity with anarchist youth that the government of Mexico has kidnapped his jails in 
recent years.

We sympathized with them, and with different national cases of political prisoners, and in

We denounce this persecution campaign, launched in 2003 with accusations anarchist groups

hesitated to give incriminating statements about anarchist groups that act in the City of 
Despair.

What happened on December 1 is the product of social discontent. The swearing in of EPN is

economic and political climate, in which the concentration of power in a small group of 
people and companies are bringing serious consequences for the vast majority of people. 
Police, federal and local, displayed his usual brutality against every protester, against 
anyone who in their path, making arbitrary arrests and indiscriminate. This, coupled with 
the news of wounded comrades around San Lazaro, sparked further anger protesters.

For us, violence originates in the political system and the state, we try to bring their 
instruments of social control, and the economic system that deprives us of the ability to 
have a decent life and exploits us through appropriation of our work. This is the original 
violence and she will always be legitimate to organize. The real terrorists are those who 
by their actions or their silent complicity, have plunged the country into a senseless 
war, filling the cities of fear and death, and criminalizing poverty chasing and killing 
is organized and who dares to stand up .

So, with this statement denounced the growing campaign of criminalization of social 
protest, especially against the anarchist groups and individuals. We hold it to the 
Government of the Federal District. We demand the immediate release of each and every one 
of those arrested.
