general assemblies, and so the decision making is collective for all aspects of the fight 
as for the daily management (production and sharing of food, housing, transportation, 
culture ...).

This island of resistance and life was otherwise considered by the authority (political 
and economic) as a potentially subversive alternative to larger scale, a "cyst" to the 
Minister of the Interior. This is what explains the deployment of incredible forces to 
which everything must go and as soon as possible. They have not shied away from violence 
and did not hesitate to destroy places of life and property (bicycles, beds ...) inhabitants.

The Zadistes (generic term covering many different visions for individuals) have forged 
links with their neighbors and build a network of people involved around. Also, when the 
crackdown began, the resistance was organized and received support more broad. Determining 
Zadistes against the forces of order and the alternative model they show have attracted 
well beyond the current political divisions.

Despite some maneuvers, political parties do not have control over them and they appear 
only reinforcement. The government is still trying - in vain - to separate the good from 
the wicked opponents "anarcho autonomous", "urban warfare specialists" ... Whereas, in 
fact, all the protesters stood together.

The successful demonstration of 17 October shows. Beyond the number (more than 30,000 
demonstrators), it is the creativity of the event that marked: many panels of characters 
with poetic-political messages, countless songs and slogans designed for the occasion. 
Above all, there was the collective construction of self, houses and shelters of wood and 
straw.

Self-management operation implemented by Zadistes upsets the political. We are seeing more 
and more people are initially wary about self-management capabilities of humans, 
reconsider their views. They even get excited for this form of collective life that 
respects individuality, in which everyone participates according to his means and desires.

In fact, the collective support have multiplied throughout France and beyond, each taking 
independent initiatives without waiting for any instructions from a center. ZAD, its mode 
of existence and resistance, has transformed the conditions of the struggle. Those who 
fought alone in their corner are flocking from everywhere, many supporters.

Beyond active supporters, a good part of the population that does not follow from afar 
what happens, sympathizes with the struggle. Indeed, the destruction of agricultural land, 
farmland, and especially public-private partnerships that perfectly illustrate the 
capitalist swindle allowing private gain profit while care is provided for losses by the 
public authorities have increasingly difficult to pass in public.

The struggle with self-management in assistance ZAD who developed shows that can 
coordinate activities, provide some justice without recourse to the state.

Police repression and gendarmesque conducted by the State, to defend the interests of the

mutual great place to live.

The Anarchist Federation denounces course, state violence and supports the opposition at 
the airport, as initiated by the ZAD and his supporters. Using all networks (his militant 
groups, the radio, the press), the Anarchist Federation fully supports the ongoing 
struggle and will always echo the self-management alternatives in place here in the ZAD, 
and elsewhere in France and around the world.

The Anarchist Federation calls to join the fight on the ground, to take over support 
initiatives to create or where there has not yet.
