(en) Libertarian Students Front of Argentina - Defend all Technical content and shifts of technical colleges (ca) [machine translation]
Date

There are 16 technical colleges in Buenos Aires with a significant presence in the FEL
Autovoncados Technicians Association. Mobilization against elimination of night shift.
Technical Schools in Buenos Aires we planted for our curriculum and in defense of the
evening shift. So far, we are fighting side by side, taking our schools, peers and
colleagues from the ET. 35, ET. 27, Fernando Arranz, Hicken, Yrurtia and Cortázar. We
reject the resolution 1281, signed by the Minister of Education of the City, Esteban
Bullrich, which sets overall guidelines Curriculum technical colleges in the city, aiming
to add materials and Humanistic Economics at the expense of technical content, which is
clearly reduced. With the mobilization of partners and peers, we slow the emptying of
technical subjects.
This was achieved mainly through the Association of Technical Autoconvocados (ATA), which
allowed us to carry out control measures as simultaneous roadblocks in the city, and large
mobilizations to the Legislature, and the Ministry of Education of Buenos Aires, where we
delivered a petition demanding:
1 - The Integral suspension ongoing curricular reform, including the case of Computation.
This suspension does not invalidate the contributions and alternative projects are
presenting several specialty schools, but lets consider the depth they deserve.
2 - open spaces of real democratic participation, with representatives of the educational
community and staff in each specialty Curriculum suitable for the preparation of new plans.
3 - The need to move simultaneously in the curriculum reform in all specialties and
national schools for the validity of the titles.
Importantly, these changes not only affect us as students, but also affect the teachers,
adding hours of work or otherwise removing their original positions. Therefore, we believe
it is vitally important to work together with education workers.
Now we stop the destruction of technical subjects. Schools now take the night shift! We
want to impose an afternoon shift (which would start at 16 pm), eliminating the night
shift. Thus, all the comrades who laburan during the day, and can only study at night,
with the elimination of the night shift and could not continue in schools. We have to
fight so that no student has to leave school! A struggle massively in every side!
DISPOSAL NO night shift!
AN EDUCATIONAL PROJECT BY SERVING THE PEOPLE!
